Steve Jordan, master historic preservantionist and window restoration expert, has worked out a number of projects at Quarry Farm and the Mark Twain Study. He restored the windows in the Quarry Farm parlor, the windows in the Mark Twain Study, and has worked on the pocket door in the Quarry Farm parlor. Additionally, he has provided invaluable advice and professional connections on a number of other preservation projects.
On July 9, 2025, Jordan was interviewed for WXXI PBS News, promoting his new book The Historic House Handbook: A Sensitive Guide to Old House Living.
Not only has Jordan assisted CMTS with its important preservation efforts, but he has contributed to its programming, as well.
